Senior Technology Risk Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Technology Risk Analyst.
What You Will Do:
- Drive consistency across the organization by establishing and maintaining technology risk management governance, technology risk & controls framework and technology & risk management processes
- Provide extensive subject matter expertise in key technology risk management areas such as information security, operations, IT Resiliency, and technology delivery
- Support risk assessment activities, day-to-day management of Issue Register documentation and reporting including tracking, obtaining updates and consolidating remediation progress on self-identified technology issues, and audit findings
- Provide assistance reporting and execution of annual Business Continuity Planning (BCP) / Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities as well as oversight and monitor DR activities performed by Line 1A Management
- Support the review and challenge of exceptions / risk acceptances aligning to enterprise policies and standards and
- Support the risk reviews of key initiatives and projects
- Assist in preparing business unit / portfolio-based reports and metrics (KRIs, KPIs, etc.) to highlight risks and impacts for management & executive reporting
- Contribute to the evolution of Canada Life’s technology risk management strategy and operating model
- Provide guidance to Technology teams in the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of controls that reduce a broad spectrum of technology operational risks
- Assist in ongoing monitoring of compliance with policies and standards and enforce compliance with policies and standards across all levels of the organization
- Support the Technology Risk & Control identification process across all of Canada Life organization
- Support Line 2 in their review and challenge of 1st line risk processes
- Assist in providing a holistic view of technology risk across the organization
- Foster, advocate for and strengthen Canada Life’s overall technology risk posture
What You Will Bring:
- 2 to 5 years of experience within the field of technology risk and compliance
- Excellent business writing and communication skills, with great attention to detail
- Ability to aggregate and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
- Ability to build a strong rapport with business teams and build consensus
- Ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities under time pressure without compromising quality
- Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment - being a self-starter, results-oriented, and highly motivated while being effective in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Strong understanding of technology risk
- University degree in business or related dicipline
- Accreditations such as ABCP, CBCP, CBCI

The base salary for this position is between $80,400 - $130,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
