We are looking for a Senior Tax Reporting Technician.

 

As a Senior Tax Reporting Technician, you will be a member of a team operating in a fast-paced environment. This includes knowledge of the many systems within Individual (Wealth and Insurance) and Group Customer. The team ensures effective and appropriate processes are in place while maintaining timely and accurate reporting to clients and government bodies, such as the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec.

 

What you will do:

  • Client, Advisor, Administration inquiries and investigations
  • Preparation of receipts, tax slips including manual, duplicate and amendments
  • Manage and investigate daily error reports
  • Assist with reconciliations of tax accounts
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly tax remittances
  • Year End Tax Reporting / Tax Utility

 

What you will bring:

  • Experience with the various tax slips and receipts that support Individual Customer and Group Customer
  • Knowledge of financial transactions and how they impact a tax calculation
  • Ability to manage multiple demands while working to strict deadlines
  • Proven analytical ability
  • Strong Problem-solving skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Customer Service skills
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset

The base salary for this position is between $50,200 - $75,300 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
