Canada Life is currently looking for a Senior Investment Funds Reporting Analyst to join the Financial Operations team.
This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and analyzing Segregated Fund data and reports captured from several different systems. In addition it also plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, accuracy of fund data, efficient operations, and advisor/client experience.
What you’ll do
- Maintain Segregated Fund Database(s) (1,000+ funds)
- Support statement preparation and distribution (Audited Financial Statements)
- Analyse data from various business information to contribute to organizational decisions
- Assist with repetitive tasks that support financial operations, data flow and data management
- Coordinate a variey of Fund Reports incluing Individual Wealth Fund Facts and Workplace Solutions Fund Reports
- Ensure content compliance
- Participate in vendor relationships, templates, and tight reporting deadlines
- Collaborate with and build strong relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders and business + finance teams
What you will bring
- 2+ years of experience in data reporting & analytics experience - ideally in Segregated Funds
- Advanced Excel/Macros and experience with data/reporting systems
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to deal with fluctuation work volumes, and possible competing priorities
- High accuracy and attention to detail, especially with large data sets
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Consistently meets goals and completes assigned tasks, clarifying work when needed
- Ability to think outside the box, shares improvement ideas and readily implements optimized work processes and practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with various audiences and all levels of staff
- Ability to recognize when to escalate issues
- Self-motivation with a desire to learn and embrace new challenges
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma in a related field

The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
