Role Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst, you lead the analysis of complex business problems and drive the definition of scalable, business-aligned solutions. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, you ensure that requirements are clearly defined, validated, and translated into effective solutions that support operational and strategic objectives.
What You Will Do
- Lead business analysis activities: gather, analyze, and validate requirements for complex initiatives
- Drive solution design: translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications and recommendations
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment: lead workshops, discussions, and decision-making processes
- Support delivery & execution: collaborate with project, technology, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation
- Ensure quality: contribute to testing strategy, validation, and overall solution integrity
- Manage risks & dependencies: identify issues, propose mitigation strategies, and track progress
- Enable change & adoption: support documentation, training, and change management activities
- Promote continuous improvement: identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and best practices
- Production support issue tracking, problem solving and resolution within own team and systems and across key stakeholder groups
- Support transition from initiative delivery to production support to ensure seamless advisor and client experience
- Mentor and support others: share expertise and contribute to team development
What You Will Bring
- 2-4+ years experience in Business Analysis or a related field
- University degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Certifications (asset): Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) ; Lean Six Sigma ; Change Management (e.g., Prosci)
- Experience with enterprise systems (insurance industry preferred)
- Experience with Univeris, JIRA and Excel
- SQL, VBA, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
- Solid organizational and prioritization skills
- Adaptability and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Collaborative mindset and continuous improvement approach
Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London or Toronto.

The base salary for this position is between $62,800 - $104,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
