We are looking for a Sales Enablement Coach, Investment & Retirement Solutions, for our Freedom Experience team, within the Workplace Solutions division. Our team of Investment & Retirement Specialists and Consultants help group plan members understand features of their GRS plan, and provides sound, unbiased financial advice to help plan members achieve their financial goals and retire with confidence. As a Sales Enablement Coach, you will help the Investment & Retirement Specialists and Consultants on our team improve the quality of their conversations with members and recognize opportunities to add value, ultimately helping them achieve individual and team sales objectives.
What you will do
- Provide individualized coaching to our Specialists and Consultants in simulated and live environments
- Assess Specialist and Consultant capabilities and equip each with the knowledge and skills to conduct comprehensive client discovery and needs analysis, deliver tailored advice or product recommendations, and integrate financial planning concepts into ongoing customer interactions
- Identify best practices or common misconceptions and translate these into recommendations for new training topics, changes to sales scripts and / or new initiatives to pursue untapped sales opportunities
- Maintain regular feedback loops to enhance the success of each individual team member
- Play a key role in developing training content, and lead training segments in team meetings
- Share solutions and strategies to understand customer behaviors and increase engagement.
- Partner with team leaders and other business partners to support, guide and assist in unlocking training and sales opportunities.
- Manage and enforce the licensing and supervision requirements for our licensed team members
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in a sales environment within the financial planning or investments industry
- Demonstrated success in a sales coaching or training capacity
- Positive, customer-oriented attitude
- Passion for advice and solutions
- Superior relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid life insurance license (LLQP) across Canada, or willingness to pursue within the first month
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or equivalent, or willingness to pursue within first 6 months
- Proven ability to sustain and flourish in an ambiguous or unchartered area; must be comfortable with uncertainty and constant change

Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website
- Willingness to occasional travel to support the team in various office locations

The base salary for this position is between $63,500 - $117,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
