Print & Mail Operator (6 month contract)

The Print & Mail Operator is responsible for the running of the production printers and automated mail insertion equipment in the print room. They will process printing and mail jobs based on the provided instruction and conduct quality checks to ensure jobs are completed correctly. Other duties include ordering and maintaining stock levels, organizing workloads to meet negotiated SLA’s, and maintaining the printers.
What you will do:

Operate and maintain high speed digital printers and mail insertion equipment

Perform bindery and finishing (cutting, folding, etc.)

Perform general maintenance on all equipment, order stock and supplies, and log issues in our Remedy incident system

Answer customer inquiries and monitor the email box for orders

Collaborate with vendor technical staff on problem solving maintenance issues
What you will bring:

High School education mandatory, post secondary an asset
-
1-2 years of related experience
-
A keen eye for detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
-
Strong computer skills, including Excel, printing and mail insertion equipment, digital scanners, etc.

Customer-focused mindset and ability to communicate order requirements

Ability to work independently
- Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website

The base salary for this position is between $36,100.00 - $48,800.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
