The Endpoint Engineering Specialist is a senior technical role responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and continuously improving the digital workplace platform. The role combines expertise in endpoint engineering, automation, security, compliance, and analytics to deliver modern, cloud-based end-user computing services.
This position leads the evolution of endpoint management platforms, software delivery, device lifecycle management, Digital Employee Experience (DEX), and AI-enabled operational capabilities. The Engineering Specialist works across technology, security, infrastructure, and business teams to develop scalable, automated, and user-centric solutions that enhance employee productivity while maintaining enterprise security and governance standards.
What you will do
Engineering & Automation

- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and other enterprise technologies to improve endpoint provisioning, software deployment, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Administer and enhance endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune, MECM, Entra ID, Windows Autopatch, Microsoft Defender and virtual desktop technologies in support of cloud-first and hybrid strategies.
- Lead the design and implementation of endpoint management, security, compliance, and software delivery capabilities while evaluating emerging platform technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable workplace technology solutions while leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
Patching, Security & Compliance

- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve endpoint patching, vulnerability management, compliance, and security processes aligned with organizational requirements and technology strategy.
- Design and implement endpoint security controls, configuration baselines, and compliance policies to maintain a secure and resilient end-user computing environment.
- Monitor, assess, and remediate security, compliance, and vulnerability findings through automation, reporting, risk assessment, and collaboration with Security and Infrastructure teams.
- Support audit, risk, software governance, application control, endpoint hardening, and continuous compliance initiatives while evaluating emerging threats and recommending security improvements.
End User Experience & Support

- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex endpoint, software, security, and workplace technology incidents while partnering with Service Desk, Field Services, Security, and Infrastructure teams to drive resolution.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and monitor endpoint health, performance, and Digital Employee Experience (DEX) metrics to identify opportunities for proactive remediation and service improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical standards, operational procedures, knowledge documentation, and support guidance to improve service quality and operational effectiveness.
- Deliver technical training, subject matter expertise, and change enablement activities that support the successful adoption of new technologies, workplace services, and automation capabilities.
Project & Lifecycle Management

- Lead and participate in agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning activities.
- Manage and prioritize engineering work using enterprise platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or other approved work management tools.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps, lifecycle planning, platform modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement programs supporting end-user technologies.
- Provide technical leadership for endpoint-related projects, ensuring solutions are delivered securely, efficiently, and in alignment with business, operational, and architectural standards.
Governance & Documentation

- Develop and maintain engineering standards, technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture diagrams, compliance controls, and configuration baselines.
- Support governance, risk, audit, change management, technical review, and operational readiness processes to ensure solutions can be effectively supported and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
- Promote process standardization, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across End User Technology teams.
What you will bring
- 5-7 years of experience in endpoint engineering, desktop engineering, workplace technology, infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles.
- Significant experience supporting and engineering enterprise Windows and macOS environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft endpoint technologies including Intune, MECM, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Windows Autopatch, Microsoft 365 Apps, and related management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of endpoint lifecycle management, configuration baselines, vulnerability management, patching, and compliance practices.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and experience leveraging Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and automation technologies.
- Experience supporting security, compliance, audit, and vulnerability remediation programs within large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise work-management platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Assets
- Microsoft certifications related to Intune, Endpoint Management, Azure, Security, Entra ID, or Modern Workplace technologies.
- ITIL, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent security and service management certifications.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, or other virtual desktop platforms.
- Experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms and endpoint analytics solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API, enterprise automation frameworks, and AI-enabled productivity technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
- Experience operating within large, highly regulated enterprise environments and collaborating across infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.

The base salary for this position is between $58,700.00 - $108,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
