Manager, Finance, Canada Controller Group

Reporting to the Canadian Controller, the Manager, Financial Management & Planning, will work with the Controller in the areas of control oversight, technical accounting analysis, and financial statement close processes.  This role has broad scope of reach, with the opportunity to work with accounting and business professionals across the Canadian division to lead or contribute to results in the following areas:

• Manage relevant quarterly financial reporting and close processes
• Oversight over the Canadian internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR) program
• Provide management reporting on surplus liquidity and cash generation
• Research and analysis of accounting under new and existing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance processes and controls
• Participate in ad hoc financial projects, as required

Qualifications and Competencies:

• CPA designation with a strong technical working knowledge of IFRS
• 5+ years of relevant finance experience
• Highly motivated and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and strong relationship building skills
• Well-developed organizational and time management skills
• Ability to identify opportunities and execute plans of action to create efficiencies

The base salary for this position is between  $74,500.00 - $131,000.00 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
