Leasing Analyst Corporate Properties

Reporting to the Manager, Regional Office Portfolio & Transactions, the Lease Analyst provides transactional and administrative support for a national lease portfolio. This role is responsible for the accurate processing, reconciliation, and maintenance of lease and financial data, ensuring compliance with lease terms, internal controls, and records management standards.

 

What you will do:

  • Process rent and lease-related invoices in accordance with lease terms and delegated authorities
  • Reconcile annual operating cost and tax statements to validate tenant allocations and investigate variances
  • Maintain accurate lease and financial data in the lease administration system and SAP to support monthly payments
  • Track lease expiries and support file setup, documentation, and workflow coordination
  • Prepare rental budgets, rent variance reporting, and lease-related inputs for approval materials
  • Interpret leases to extract and record key financial and administrative terms
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready electronic lease files in line with records retention standards
  • Monitor and respond to requests through shared inboxes, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Validate utility and occupancy data for financial, sustainability, or audit purposes
  • Ensure compliance with approval thresholds and escalate exceptions as required
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Facilities, and external landlords or brokers
  • Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives

 

What you will bring:

  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated focus on data accuracy and quality control
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple transactional priorities
  • Solid numerical and analytical skills, including reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Understanding of financial controls, approval frameworks, and escalation requirements
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with SAP, lease administration systems, workflow tools, and SharePoint is an asset
  • Familiarity with records management and audit-ready documentation practices
  • Ability to translate lease and financial data into clear, decision-ready summaries

 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London and Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $57,100 - $89,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
