Learning Insights and Initiatives Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Learning Insights and Initiatives Specialist to support the Learning & Performance Enablement Team. Reporting to the Manager, Learning Technology and Support, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth execution of training programs by managing data feeds, coordinating logistics, and leading reporting and evaluation efforts. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness and efficiency of our learning initiatives.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate training records and databases (e.g., LMS, spreadsheets, attendance logs).
    • Track training metrics and generate regular reports for internal/external stakeholders.
    • Support data analysis to evaluate training effectiveness and identify trends.
    • Consult with training leads during needs analysis phase of projects to ensure required data will be captured properly.
    • Development, management and innovation of tools and processes to support project data requirements.

 

  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Schedule training sessions, instructor schedule management, and support training communications.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure tasks are meeting project requirements according to plans and schedules.
    • Manage training materials, registration pages, files, calendars and bookings.
    • Monitor registrations and manage any required changes to scheduling.
    • Proactively detect and mitigate potential risks to implementation plans.

 

  • Learning initiative Support:
    • Support project management functions within the learning team – project planning, status updates, report sharing, etc.
    • Support stakeholder and learner/registrant questions and needs through a shared support mailbox.
    • Review and collaborate on communication materials for project deliverables.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training logistics with business needs

 

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in administrative, coordination, or data management roles.
  • Data Analysis – ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working as part of a learning/training team.
  • Favourable consideration given to those who have experience in:
      • Learning Management Systems (LMS) – experience with platforms such as Workday Learning, Cornerstone, or similar.
      • Power BI – for building dashboards and visualizing training data.
      • Salesforce Reporting – for extracting and analyzing learner and performance data.
      • Jira – for tracking training-related tasks, issues, and project timelines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMs.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills – professionalism and customer service approach.

The base salary for this position is between  $55,700.00 - $97.700.00 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
