Are you passionate about creating engaging, interactive learning experiences that make a real impact? We’re looking for a creative, self-driven Instructional Design Specialist to join our team and help shape the future of learning for our field teams and advisors.
Reporting to Manager, Learning Enablement on the Insurance Solutions Learning and Development team, you’ll design and deliver innovative learning solutions that empower our people covering everything from onboarding and new technologies to product knowledge, sales strategies, and compliance processes.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with business leaders and Learning Strategy Consultants to uncover learning needs and craft solutions that drive measurable results.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to simplify complex concepts and transform them into engaging, interactive learning experiences.
- Design and develop dynamic learning materials, online courses, videos, job aids, coaching guides, using cutting-edge tools like Articulate 360, Camtasia, and Vyond.
- Create activities and resources that spark curiosity, encourage participation, and help learners retain critical information.
- Ensure all content is accessible and inclusive, following WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
- Manage timelines, reviews, and production schedules to keep projects on track.
- Maintain organized digital assets and documentation for seamless collaboration.
What You Bring
- Experience designing impactful learning programs in a corporate environment.
- Strong grasp of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (post-secondary education in Education, preferably Adult Education, required).
- Proficiency with e-learning tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Vyond, MS Office).
- A creative mindset with a knack for problem-solving and innovation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 compliance is an asset.

The base salary for this position is between $53,900.00 - $99,700.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
