Reporting to the Director, Claim Solutions, the Implementation Manager plays a critical role in providing delivery excellence and leadership on projects. This role will work with various stakeholders across the organization and at various levels from front line staff ,  various  business partners, senior leadership,  and  liaise directly with our technology partners; to ensure high visibility and collaboration  with the intent to delivered initiatives on time and within budget. This is a senior professional role that combines strong project management, business relationship and stakeholder management skills.

 

 

What you will do 

  • Successful management of the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and business projects using appropriate waterfall, iterative and agile methodologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, resources, and milestones.

  • Collaborate with the Sr Change Management Specialist in the development of actionable and targeted change management strategies and plans that support business readiness.

  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring all deliverables are completed and aligned with the project's requirements, quality expectations, and success metrics.

  • Identify areas of the project that deviate from plan and escalate issues to the correct audience with proposed solutions or corrective actions.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reports.

  • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and technology partners to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Develop clear, concise presentations and communication materials for business stakeholders that document key business outcomes, impacts, and project updates.

  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute taking, to facilitate effective communication and decision-making among stakeholders.

  • Gather information and facilitate retrospectives; use the outcome of the lessons learned to improve processes with business stakeholders.

 

What you will bring 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing projects involving process re-engineering, technology implementation, organization and role design and process alignment. 

  • Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website 

  • Must have high degree of experience in waterfall, iterative and agile methodologies.

  • Demonstrated management of full project lifecycle for multiple initiatives or workstreams varying in complexity and stakeholders, ensuring the effective execution of multiple projects

  • Strong presentation skills and meeting facilitation; displays confidence and poise in formal speaking situations; creates effective and compelling presentations; keeps meetings clearly focused on the agenda.

  • Ability to manage changing priorities/tight deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment; ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion, and simplify complex situations.

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to translate complex technical subject matter in business terms for executive audiences, succinctly and professionally.

  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment, facilitating and contributing to work across geographies and across other functional teams.

  • Ability to hold project team members and other stakeholders accountable to ensure that projects can progress according to plan.

  • Ability to create project plans for complex projects with many interrelated paths.

  • Outcome/deliverable-focused orientation with a bias for action; disciplined scope, time, and cost management.

  • Knowledge and professional use of tools such as Power BI, Clarity, JIRA, SharePoint, Smartsheet or Excel

The base salary for this position is between  $61,900 - $114,500 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
