We are looking for a Financial Planning Specialist, Investment & Retirement Solutions, for our Freedom Experience team, within the Workplace Solutions division. Our team of Investment & Retirement Specialists and Consultants help group plan members understand features of their GRS plan, and provides sound, unbiased financial advice to help plan members achieve their financial goals and retire with confidence. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will help the Investment & Retirement Specialists and Consultants on our team gain greater proficiency with financial planning software, provide support on advanced or complex cases, and champion our financial planning approach.
What you will do

Train Investment & Retirement Specialists and Consultants on using Conquest Financial Planning software, including building of training presentations and resources as appropriate

Provide advanced support to Specialists and Consultants on complex cases to ensure appropriate financial planning projections and recommendations

Raise the financial planning skillset across the team, including developing and maintaining financial planning approaches that the team can use in conversations with plan members

Champion our financial planning offering with our field partners where appropriate (e.g. consultant roadshows, finalist presentations)
What you will bring

5+ years of experience in a sales environment within the financial planning or investments industry

Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
-
Demonstrated success in a sales coaching or training capacity
-
Positive, customer-oriented attitude

Passion for financial advice and solutions
-
Superior relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
-
Proven ability to sustain and flourish in an ambiguous or unchartered area; must be comfortable with uncertainty and constant change.

Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website

Excellent organization, prioritization and planning skills required.

The base salary for this position is between $63,500 - $117,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
