As an Engineer Specialist you will play a critical role in enabling secure, reliable, and scalable technology environments that support key business operations. This role focuses on infrastructure integration, automation, and platform support.
You will work closely with internal partners and external vendors to integrate solutions, reduce risk, remediate vulnerabilities, and modernize environments by moving from manual to automated processes. This is a hands-on role well suited for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, working in regulated environments, and continuously improving how systems operate.
What you will do
- Integrate, support, and maintain infrastructure platforms and middleware across multiple environments
- Automate infrastructure and environment processes, enabling a shift from manual to automated workflows
- Partner with vendors to integrate externally developed solutions into internal platforms
- Support application servers, databases, certificates, and security‑related configurations
- Identify, assess, and remediate infrastructure and platform vulnerabilities in alignment with enterprise risk and security standards
- Perform light scripting and configuration tasks (e.g., SQL scripting, basic Java analysis) to support integrations and troubleshooting
- Monitor systems proactively to identify risks, performance issues, or potential outages
- Respond to incidents, participate in triage, and drive resolution with internal teams and vendors
- Participate in an on‑call rotation, supporting production environments approximately one week every 4–5 weeks
- Collaborate within an agile, squad‑based team environment and contribute to documentation and standard operating procedures.
What you will bring
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems integration, platform support, or a related technical role
- Hands‑on experience with infrastructure automation and environment integration
- Working knowledge of application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, or similar technologies)
- Experience with databases, SQL scripting, and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Exposure to vulnerability management, certificates, and security or risk remediation
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments (financial services strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- A university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

The base salary for this position is between $68,800-114,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
