Description:

Permanent Full Time

As Director, Sales Enablement, you will build and lead the strategy for engaging audiences in a forward-thinking channel-based communication strategy. From the early-stage sales of capabilities and systems to accelerate growth by equipping sales teams with the strategies, tools and training they need to prospect new opportunities and cultivate relationships through the early and mid-funnel.

You will lead Sales Enablement Managers, set clear direction and ensure enablement priorities remain closely aligned with business strategy, advisor needs and growth objectives.
You will serve as a senior partner to Sales, Product Marketing and Content Marketing, and represent Sales Enablement independently with senior stakeholders.

What you will do

Shape and execute the enablement strategy

  • Own the enablement strategy for the prospecting and cultivating stages of the sales funnel, aligned with enterprise and business-unit growth objectives.
  • Translate business and product strategies into clear, actionable sales enablement priorities, including the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) capabilities where appropriate.
  • Define success for early-stage sales motions and ensure enablement efforts drive measurable impact.
  • Anticipate sales needs and proactively shape plans rather than responding only to ad hoc requests.

Build capability and lead the team

  • Lead and develop Sales Enablement Managers by setting direction, clarifying priorities and building confidence and credibility with sales leaders.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of pipeline enablement programs that improve sales confidence, consistency and effectiveness in prospecting and relationship development.
  • Ensure enablement content, tools and training are practical, sales-ready and easy to adopt.

Advance personalization

  • Lead the development and adoption of personalization capabilities that help sales teams deliver relevant, timely and audience-specific prospecting and cultivating experiences.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Content Marketing so enablement assets, messaging and programs are informed by audience insights and aligned with personalization strategies.
  • Establish direction, standards and governance for personalization within Sales Enablement to support consistency, scalability and alignment with business priorities.
  • Equip managers and teams to use personalization capabilities effectively and report results to business partners against key priorities and initiatives.

Partner and influence across the business

  • Act as a trusted senior partner to Sales leadership, Product Marketing and Content Marketing.
  • Represent Marketing independently in sales meetings, planning forums and leadership discussions as needed.
  • Bring together business insight, sales realities and data to influence decisions and provide clear recommendations.

Plan, measure and optimize

  • Lead structured planning and prioritization to balance demand, capacity and impact.
  • Use insights, feedback and performance indicators to refine enablement strategies over time.
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of enablement initiatives and adjust the approach as needed.
  • Contribute to broader enablement operating models, ways of working and continuous improvement.

What you bring

  • A university degree and 6 to 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of channel businesses, the sales cycle and personalization strategy.
  • Marketing experience and the ability to identify and anticipate opportunities, regulatory requirements, potential issues and business impacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple interconnected workstreams, manage priorities and provide clear strategic direction.
  • Strong strategic and financial analysis skills, including the ability to synthesize information, communicate progress and develop KPI scorecards.
  • A results-oriented approach and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, influential communication skills and the ability to build productive cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

Leadership scope

This role assigns and schedules work, conducts formal performance reviews, and has hiring and termination authority for managed team members. The role profile identifies three direct reports and no indirect reports.

How success will be measured

  • Clear alignment between enablement priorities, growth objectives and advisor needs.
  • Improved sales confidence, consistency and effectiveness in prospecting and relationship development.
  • Practical adoption of sales-ready content, tools, training and personalization capabilities.
  • Measurable performance reporting that supports prioritization, executive priorities and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Continuous improvement in enablement planning, operating models and ways of working.

The impact you will make

You will help strengthen the business approach to personalization, prioritization, sequencing and performance reporting. You will also identify and design measurable improvements to digital communications that support lead generation and sales-funnel effectiveness.
