We’re looking for a Director of Sales Enablement to help drive the growth of Client Advisory Services (CAS)—a newly launched sales organization focused on strengthening client relationships at Canada Life. This role will focus on Pinnacle and the Financial Solutions Centre, two critical pillars of our strategy of becoming a leading Wealth player.

 

You’ll lead a team dedicated to enabling these businesses, creating strategies and programs that improve sales effectiveness, align with annual priorities, and deliver measurable business results. This includes planning and executing sales initiatives, managing key partnerships, and leveraging data to make informed decisions that maximize sales outcomes. You’ll work closely with sales leaders and peers across CAS to identify opportunities and collaborate on initiatives that drive growth.

 

What you will do  

 

  • Lead and develop a Sales Enablement team 
  • Develop, plan, and execute enablement initiatives aligned with annual sales targets and CAS priorities, ensuring clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and timely delivery. 
    • Pinnacle: Partner with sales leaders to accelerate initiatives that promote national adoption of best practices, creating a scalable advisor channel and delivering a consistent client experience. 
    • Financial Solutions Centre: Lead initiatives that expand advisor capacity and drive sales growth, focusing on digital experience and planning, and technology enhancements. 
  • Manage intake and prioritization processes for initiatives to ensure appropriate prioritization and resource alignment.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Technology to implement organizational changes that enable success. 
  • Monitor and track performance of initiatives with the Director of Performance Management, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring alignment with KPIs. 
  • Work with peers across CAS to identify and pursue new opportunities that drive growth. 
  • Support additional enablement areas as needed, including Learning & Development, Risk & Compliance, and operational process improvements.

 

 

What you will bring 

 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or related leadership roles in complex organizations. 
  • Proven ability to drive execution, delivering initiatives on time and achieving measurable business outcomes. 
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience building strong relationships with sales leaders and partnering to identify and prioritize opportunities. 
  • Background in marketing collaboration, including campaign execution and alignment with sales strategies. 
  • Expertise in designing and implementing enablement programs that improve sales effectiveness and productivity. 
  • Experience in sales process optimization, onboarding, and performance support. 
  • Knowledge of financial services and the wealth management industry is an asset.
  • A mindset for continuous improvement and innovation, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and find better ways of working.

The base salary for this position is between $92,100 - $170,500 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
