Client Advisory Services (CAS) is Canada Life's advice and sales organization focused on building individual relationships with plan members and clients.
Our Benefits & Insurance team helps bring that ambition to life by providing advice, guidance, and support across insurance and benefits solutions, helping Canadians navigate important health, coverage, and financial decisions. The team supports plan members and clients with optional and portable benefits, life conversions, and digital-direct insurance journeys. Through expert advice, advisor enablement and a focus on the client experience, we help Canadians make informed decisions while creating opportunities to strengthen long-term relationships with Canada Life.
Reporting to the AVP, Benefits & Insurance, the Director, Client Growth & Engagement is responsible for leading growth, engagement, and client experience initiatives that generate opportunities and improve outcomes across the Benefits & Insurance client journey. Working closely with Performance Management, this role translates sales funnel insights into actions that drive awareness, engagement, conversion, and lifetime client value.
What you will do
- Lead growth and engagement initiatives that increase acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention
- Partner closely with the Insurance Sales team to generate opportunities and improve lead conversion
- Develop and execute campaigns, client journeys and engagement strategies across Portable Benefits, Individual Health & Dental, and Individual Insurance
- Optimize member and client communications, digital journeys and engagement strategies using a test-and-learn approach to improve outcomes
- Lead voice of customer and client satisfaction programs, ensuring feedback is captured in initiatives
- Partner with Performance management to identify sales funnel opportunities and prioritize actions that improve conversion and growth
- Measure and report on the impact of growth and engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Tech and Member Experience teams to implement initiatives
- Partner with Client Growth & Engagement leaders across CAS to create a more connected experience for plan members and clients
What you will bring
- 7+ years of experience in growth, customer experience, client engagement, sales enablement, or related leadership roles.
- Experience designing and delivering initiatives that drive engagement, conversion, and business growth.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys and client experience improvement practices.
- Experience using data and client insights to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in insurance, benefits, financial services, or a related industry.

The base salary for this position is between $114,200 - $164,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
