We are looking for Claims Processors

Reporting to a Team Performance Leader, the Claims Processor is responsible for reviewing and entering health and dental benefit claim forms and receipts that have been submitted by our plan members. As a requirement for this role, prospective candidates will be evaluated on their level of French reading and written comprehension. 

  

This role is eligible for a Bilingual Premium payment (English/French) in addition to salary and benefits.  Eligible hires will receive a portion of the payment thirty days after their start date.  

  

The Benefits Payment Office operates Monday to Friday, which means no late evenings and no weekends. We are closed on statutory holidays too! You’ll also benefit from many advantages, such as:

What you will do  

  • Work independently to data enter a variety of health, dental, drug, hospital, and vision claims  

  • Review claim attachments and determine which data from this information is applicable 

  • Review complex claims with your team assistant and flag claims requiring further investigation 

  • Adhere to the changing requirements of our Health & Dental Claims policy job aids 

 

What you will bring  

  • Excellent keyboarding skills 

  • Good reading comprehension 

  • Basic PC computer & Microsoft Office skills 

  • A minimum of 1 year of cumulative work experience 

  • A high school diploma 

  • Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment 

  • Successful candidates will be required to participate in the Federal Government Enhanced Screening process

The base salary for this position is between  $33,400.00 - $50,100.00 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
