We are looking for a Team Assistant, who will report to the Claims Review Supervisor.
In this role you will ensures claims auditors have the necessary information, resources, and documentation to complete claim reviews accurately and on time. The Team Assistant plays a key role in superior communication and organizational skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve, is goal-oriented and understands how to help the team achieve their goals. They will think outside the box when looking for ways to improve processes and customer service.

What You Will Do:
- Provide technical support to Claims Auditors in a highly productive environment.
- Assist the team through encouragement, coaching, and day‑to‑day collaboration to help ensure they meet their goals.
- Perform individual audits and observe best practices to support coaching efforts and improve overall quality.
- Contribute to the achievement of all operational objectives including service time, quality, and relative performance.
- Manage workflow to maintain a good level of service.
- Work on special projects when required.
- Work closely with other team assistants, team leaders and management to achieve office objectives.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on the employee’s overall performance as well as work with the Supervisor on performance reviews.
What You Will Bring:
- Must be fluent bilingual French and English written and oral communication skills
- Very good knowledge of processing claims and comfortable with BEN and SAP
- Proactive and solution oriented with strong leadership skills.
- Can lead a team in the absence of the Supervisor
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort working with confidential and sensitive information
- Reliable, dependable, and consistent.
- Collaborative and positive team contributor.
- Adaptable to changing priorities
- Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
- Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website
Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be in the following head office locations: Montreal, London or Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $45,900.00 - $76,400.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
