The Associate Strategic Implementation Manager supports Risk & Compliance by turning business needs into practical improvements, digital solutions, reporting, and scalable ways of working. The role combines project delivery, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, data insight, and hands-on solution development to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support strategic priorities.

 

What you will do

 

Drive Business Improvements

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve how work gets done.
  • Recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance the employee experience, and support business outcomes.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives from intake through implementation, including planning, coordination, change support, and outcome tracking.


Deliver Projects, Digital Solutions, and Data Insights

  • Support the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects and strategic initiatives, including work plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder updates.
  • Design, build, and maintain reporting, dashboards, workflows, automation, and business tools that enable better decision-making and sustainable operations.
  • Use data analysis and business insights to identify trends, measure outcomes, and inform recommendations.
  • Leverage tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Excel, and other technologies to address business needs.
  • Support digital enablement, automation, and AI-related initiatives by helping turn ideas into practical, reusable, and well-supported solutions.


Build Relationships and Enable Adoption

  • Work closely with business partners, technology teams, and leadership to align priorities, manage expectations, and deliver outcomes.
  • Communicate insights, options, recommendations, and project status in a clear, business-friendly manner.
  • Support adoption of new processes and technologies through documentation, training, change support, and ongoing user enablement.
  • Influence without authority and build alignment across diverse stakeholders and teams.

 

What you will bring

 

  • Experience supporting business transformation, project delivery, process improvement, technology enablement, reporting, or operational initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, delivery plans, and practical solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development, particularly using Power BI.
  • Experience developing or supporting solutions using Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, and Excel.
  • Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives, balance competing priorities, and follow through on commitments.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or complex information in a practical and business-friendly way.
  • Curiosity and willingness to explore emerging technologies, including automation and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Experience in Risk, Compliance, Financial Services, Audit, or another regulated environment is an asset.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or other scripting/data technologies is considered an asset.
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Data Analytics, Risk Management, Compliance, Operations, or a related field.
  • Typically requires 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in business delivery, technology enablement, process improvement, reporting, operations, compliance, project delivery, or a related field.
  • Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada  website.  The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $70,800.00 - $120,800.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
