Associate Manager Finance & Reporting

The Associate Manager, Finance & Reporting, is a key financial and technical resource for the Workplace Solutions and Canada Operations and Business Enablement Expense Management team. The incumbent will be responsible for the development of financial models and tools that will provide the basis of the expense budget and other financial initiatives. The financial information and analysis provided will enable the senior management team to manage the various aspects of the business.

 

The incumbent will also use the tools created to present monthly expense results and insight to management and be an active participant in the creation of the annual expense budgets.

 

What you will do

  • Develop and update Power BI dashboards to provide insightful information to management on FTE & expenses for Workplace Solutions
  • Coordinate and manage the annual expense budget process including development and maintenance of budget models, built in assumptions, and expense targets
  • Oversee the reporting and analysis of expense variances and re-projections on a monthly basis
  • Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement ideas; implement improvements and provide training to colleagues
  • Project work analyzing expense impacts on changes
  • Management and quarterly reporting of expense allocations
  • Presentation of expense information and insights to management, including senior management

 

What you will bring

  • Professional accounting designation and/or a minimum of five years of related experience
  • Proven Power BI and database management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; proficiency in MS Access an asset
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and team player skills
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills

 

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London or Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $75,600 - $125,600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
