Reporting to the Director Enterprise Risk Management, the Associate Manager is responsible for supporting and leading data analysis and report development for a global community of risk, compliance, and audit professionals.
In this role, the candidate will identify and analyze business needs to develop and support data solutions. The Associate Manager will apply their expertise to deliver innovative solutions adopting best practices, enhancing performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Become familiar with datasets from multiple sources.
- Analyze complex datasets to deliver key insights for the business.
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Enable data-driven decision-making by collaborating with various business teams.
- Automate reporting and analytics processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support recurring and ad hoc analytical needs
Systems & Platforms Management
- Analyze and support performance enhancements for reporting platforms and workspaces.
- Support and manage workspace access governance, performance, maintenance.
- Assist with incident management and access reviews for GRC and reporting platforms.
- Support system-related initiatives such as upgrades, new system rollouts, and integration projects.
Stakeholder Engagement & Training:
- Collaborate with business partners to transform high-level business requirements into meaningful analytics that support business needs.
- Provide training and support on developed reports, BI tools and system best practices, continuously refining materials for better adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal data and system solutions, driving efficiency and scalability through continuous improvement.
- Promote innovation by recommending process enhancements and automation to optimize workflows.
What you will bring:
- Degree or Diploma in related discipline (Data Analytics, Computer Science, System Integration, Finance, Business Computing, Business Analysis etc.) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint and Python is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and a creative, solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal documentation or instruction.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple complex tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong business relationships.
- Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and security practices.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices and how to apply them to meet stakeholder needs.
- Understanding of how AI tools can support our work on reporting, data analysis, etc. recognising the need to manage the limitations of such tools and ensure outputs meet quality and compliance standards.

The base salary for this position is between $63,500 - $117,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
