Associate Manager, Product Marketing

We’re looking for an Associate Manager, Product Marketing who will play a critical role in shaping how workplace benefits and retirement products are positioned, launched and experienced in the market. This role partners closely with the Manager, Product Marketing to translate strategy, insight and business priorities into clear messaging, value propositions and gotomarket plans that drive results.

What you will do:

Lead product marketing initiatives  

  • Own product, segment or lifecycle marketing initiatives of moderate to high complexity 

  • Translate enterprise and business strategies into clear product positioning, messaging and gotomarket approaches 

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of value propositions, personas and messaging frameworks 

  • Provide informed marketing guidance that shapes decisions, priorities and direction 

 

Deliver strong gotomarket execution 

  • Develop and execute gotomarket plans for new and enhanced products, aligned to business priorities and timelines 

  • Ensure messaging is applied consistently and effectively across tactics and touchpoints 

  • Ensure content meets Canada Life voice, brand and style standards 

  • Develop and maintain plans, approvals and documentation in tools such as Workfront and SharePoint 

  • Provide clear progress updates, surface risks early and navigate competing priorities 

 

Measure, learn and continuously improve 

  • Define success measures for initiatives and monitor performance 

  • Use insights and analytics to optimize marketing efforts and inform future recommendations 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in product marketing ways of working, tools and practices 

 

What you will bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, gotomarket initiatives or complex campaign development 

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field 

  • Proven ability to lead work through influence rather than formal authority 

  • Strong project leadership skills, including planning, stakeholder management and delivery 

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, workplace benefits, retirement or other regulated industries is an asset

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: London, Toronto and Winnipeg. This is a hybrid position with 3 office days per week.

The base salary for this position is between $75,600 - $125,600 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
