We’re looking for an Advanced Case Consultant, Life Insurance, with insurance business savvy and charismatic gusto to play an integral role with the Insurance Distribution team. In this fast-paced, results-driven environment, you will deliver product expertise, advanced sales strategies and industry insight. You’ll expand and multiply the acquisition of life insurance business by providing insight into life insurance opportunities and product design with business owners, professionals and affluent clients through working in partnership with top advisors. Our product shelf is robust, dependable and effective and we’re looking to you to showcase to advisors the power behind our solutions.
To start:
- Your experience is rock solid, with 15+ years’ experience with a focus on large case life insurance and complex product design solutions. As a lead large case life insurance expert and relationship manager, you’ll join a proprietary insurance team that commands industry respect, defines success by growth and is generously rewarded with compensation and benefits.
- You’re an authority on life insurance products, sales concepts, the insurance industry and applicable legislation. You understand tax and estate planning related to life insurance solutions.
- With your credibility and expertise (CFP or CLU), you’re ready to lead, inspire and set the agenda. You’ll join a team as a technical leader and you’ll be supported with proven processes, product solutions, strategies and technical support.

Desired skills and experience:
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the individual insurance industry
- Vast experience in large and complex product design solutions
- Post-secondary education, preferably in finance, accounting or taxation; or equivalent work experience
- Strong leadership, sales and relationship-building skills
- Superior knowledge of Canadian life insurance products, sales strategies, the financial services industry and the marketplace
- Advanced understanding of tax principles related to life insurance solutions
- Hold valid financial services designations, such as CFP or CLU
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to travel throughout an assigned region using your own means of transportation

The base salary for this position is between $76,400 - $141,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
