Role Description:

This role is located in Kitchener, ON and is a 12 month contract position.
What you will do
- Add advisors to Wealthserv Insurance and Investments, including set up of hierarchies and carrier codes, then coordinate with IT to add advisor access
- Compile, prefill, and forward contracting requirements and paperwork to advisors for completion
- Forward contract approval/issued code to advisor and notify internal partners
- Pull client listings from carrier websites to verify accurate and complete transfer, investigate when business is not moved properly
- Update override forms and send to the carrier
- Prefill and submit all required transfer documents to other MGA’s for block valuation
- Manage and update cases on Salesforce
- Update and distribute advisor licensing, E & O certificates, bank changes, address updates and contact information changes
- Review for any expired E & O certificates, licensing requirements, etc. and follow up with advisors accordingly
- Complete advisor attestations and profile maintenance
- Review and ensure data matching of APEXA to the carrier’s data from feeds, and reconcile any discrepancies
- Logging tickets with APEXA support to solve any issues within the APEXA environment
- Manage contract changes including approvals and closing out advisor profile shells
What you will bring
- Completion of Post-Secondary School, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in the insurance and financial services industry an asset
- Bilingual (French/English) considered a strong asset
- Possesses working knowledge of contracting processes within the MGA and insurance industry
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of WealthServ and APEXA an asset
- Detail-orientated
- Organizational and time managment skills

The base salary for this position is between $39,300 - $53,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
