The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team in the Finance Department is looking for an Analyst, Finance Data and Analytics to add to our growing team. The role will support the FP&A function through data management, reporting, and analytics. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, supporting month-end processes, managing adjustments to reconcile reporting data to the General Ledger, and delivering critical financial and operational reporting. The successful candidate will also collaborate with Finance, Commissions, and Sales Field teams to ensure accurate and timely data analysis and reporting.

 

What you will do 

  • Support month-end processes by preparing and organizing data for reporting and system updates.
  • Collaborate with team members to consolidate and validate financial and operational data.
  • Help improve processes to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
  • Manage adjustments and updates to data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial records.
  • Act as a point of contact for questions related to data updates and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring reports to support business performance tracking.
  • Maintain and update various reports on trends, performance, and key metrics.
  • Take ownership of specific data processes, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and respond to stakeholder requests.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data quality, reporting, and overall processes.

 

What you will bring 

  • Education background in Accounting and/or Finance or another relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics or a similar role
  • Demonstrated Power Query and Power Pivot/Power BI (data model) experience in building and maintaining data transformation processes and reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with preparing and utilizing SQL SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE queries is an asset
  • Experience working with SAP including preparing journal entries
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Dedication to upholding a high level of data integrity within our data and reporting processes
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables within tight month-end timelines
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Proactive approach to identifying automation and process improvement opportunities

The base salary for this position is between $60,000 - $89,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
