Our Charlottetown office is recruiting a Customer Relations Admin for our fast paced customer oriented environment. Reporting to a Team Performance Leader in our Benefit Payment Office, you will be responsible for greeting visitors and answering general health and dental claim questions, you will also be responsible for resolving customer inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming mail/courier, along with general administration within the office. This involves reviewing pertinent claim receipts and forms and inpuffing these details accurately into the claims tracking systems.

 

You will be accountable for:


• Greeting visitors and handling inquiries at reception desk
• Answering general health and dental claim questions;
• Analyzing information and resolving customer inquiries
• Escalating issues as appropriate
• Follow up phone calls to clients
• Reviewing and identifying the required information from claim forms and attachments that are needed to process submissions;
• Scan and/or distribute incoming mail and faxes;
• Create and update databases;
• Manage Outlook email box
• Photocopying, Faxing, Scanning and Filing
• Other miscellaneous administrative tasks.

Required qualifications and competencies:


• College diploma in administration or the equivalent;
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience;
• Proficient with the MS Office suite and are willing to be trained on other systems
• Strong keyboarding skills required
• Team oriented;
• Well developed analytical, investigative, problem solving and decision making skills;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Well developed communication skills (verbal and written);
• Personable and professional with a positive attitude;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and deal with change effectively;
• Ability to multi task
• Possess a high stress tolerance
• Knowledge of Group Insurance an asset.

Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. This is a personal security status that is required as a condition of employment before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada  website.  The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.

The base salary for this position is between $39,100 - $52,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
