Client Advisory Services (CAS) is Canada Life's advice and sales organization focused on building individual relationships with plan members and clients.

 

Our Retirement & Savings team helps bring that ambition to life by connecting plan members with advice, education and planning support throughout their financial journey. Through retirement planning, savings advice and targeted engagement programmes, we help Canadians make informed financial decisions and improve their long-term financial well-being.

 

Reporting to the AVP, Client Advisory Retirement & Savings, the Director, Client Growth & Engagement is responsible for driving client growth, engagement and retention outcomes across Canada Life's Retirement & Savings business. This role owns the engagement strategy that connects members to advice across key segments. Working closely with Performance Management, Marketing, Digital, Technology, and other key partners, the Director translates business objectives and member insights into targeted engagement strategies, campaigns and experiences that drive measurable business outcomes. This role also leads the team's digital strategy, test-and-learn framework, and voice of client programmes to continuously improve engagement, conversion and retention results.

 

What you will do  

  • Own the development and delivery of growth, engagement and retention strategies that support Retirement & Savings sales, client engagement, and business objectives
  • Develop and execute omni-channel campaigns, outreach strategies and targeted engagement programs to drive results
  • Develop and maintain the Retirement & Savings digital engagement strategy, identifying opportunities to improve digital experiences, communications, advice journeys and client outcomes
  • Establish and lead a test-and-learn framework that supports ongoing experimentation, innovation and continuous improvement across key business segments
  • Lead Voice of Client programs and serve as the key stakeholder for client satisfaction initiatives, including CSAT, NPS and member feedback programs within Retirement & Savings
  • Partner with Performance management to identify opportunities within the sales funnel and prioritize actions that improve results
  • Measure, monitor and report on the impact of growth and engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Tech and Member Experience teams to implement initiatives
  • Partner with Client Growth & Engagement leaders across CAS to create a more connected experience for plan members and clients
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the AVP, providing insights, recommendations and growth strategies that support the continued evolution of the Retirement & Savings business

 

What you will bring   

  • 7-10 years of experience in growth, customer experience, client engagement, sales enablement, or related leadership roles
  • Experience designing and delivering campaigns or initiatives that drive engagement, conversion, and business growth
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys and client experience improvement practices
  • Strong understanding of Test & Learn best practices
  • Experience using data and client insights to identify opportunities and improve outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business objectives into practical plans and measurable results
  • Experience in insurance, wealth, financial services, or a related industry

The base salary for this position is between $114,200 - $164,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
