We are seeking an AVP, Quality Assurance to lead the transformation of our enterprise-wide quality assurance practice. Reporting to the Vice President, this role is the most senior authority in the QA space, responsible for embedding quality as a core pillar of our technology delivery lifecycle.

 

This is not just about testing—it’s about building a culture of quality. You will lead the modernization of our QA practices, drive automation, and establish governance frameworks that ensure consistent, scalable, and risk-aware delivery across all platforms.

 

What you will do:

  • Champion Quality as a Strategic Function: Lead the evolution of QA from a testing function to a business-critical discipline that ensures reliability, compliance, and customer trust.
  • Modernize QA Practices: Design and implement a forward-looking QA strategy that leverages automation, AI/ML, and DevTestOps to improve speed, accuracy, and coverage.
  • Establish Enterprise QA Governance: Define and enforce quality standards, metrics, and compliance frameworks across all teams and vendors.
  • Integrate QA Across the Lifecycle: Partner with product, development, and operations teams to embed quality early and continuously throughout the SDLC.
  • Build Scalable QA Capabilities: Develop a high-performing, hybrid (onshore/offshore) QA organization that delivers consistent results across diverse environments.
  • Measure What Matters: Define KPIs and quality metrics that demonstrate value, drive accountability, and support continuous improvement.
  • Foster a Culture of Excellence: Promote innovation, agility, and learning within the QA community, while ensuring alignment with enterprise risk and regulatory standards.
  • Leadership Expectations:
    • Inspire a vision of quality that aligns with business outcomes and customer expectations.
    • Develop and mentor QA talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Lead with influence across business and technology teams to embed quality-first thinking.
    • Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Drive strategic execution with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
 

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or related technology roles.
  • Proven success in transforming QA organizations, including automation, tooling, and process modernization.
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, risk management, and regulatory compliance in complex environments (e.g., financial services).
  • Expertise in Agile, DevOps, and continuous testing practices.
  • Strong vendor management and financial oversight capabilities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

The base salary for this position is between  $123,300.00 - $ 205,000.00 annually.  This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).  If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
